A team of two from Zest 4 Leisure, a leading trade supplier of quality timber garden products including furniture, arches, arbours and fencing, plus two guests are teeing off for a charity golf day on 7th June.
Alwyn Williams, head of Zest 4 Leisure, and Simon Davison, head of Zest 4 Leisure Direct, are participating in the Annual GIMA Charity Golf Day taking place at the Telford Hotel and Golf Resort in Shropshire. The proceeds of the day will be split equally between Greenfingers and the GIMA President’s chosen charity, Acorns Children’s Hospice Trust.
Alwyn Williams commented:
“This is a fantastic event hosted by GIMA. We have been involved for a number of years now and it’s a great way to network with others in the industry while, of course, raising money for two great charities.
“As all my colleagues know, I’m a bit of a golf fanatic and am hoping to beat last year’s score but let’s see how it goes on the day!”
In addition to taking part in the Charity Golf Day, Zest is sponsoring the ‘nearest the pin’ competition on the 11th hole.
Simon Davison said:
“As well as attending the golf day we’re delighted to sponsor the ‘nearest the pin’ competition, meaning even more is being raised for the nominated charities.
We are really looking forward to seeing who will win on the 11th hole! ”
Zest 4 Leisure, a family run company, has a long-standing history of raising money for good causes. In the last five years it has specifically chosen to support one charity each year through running marathons and participating in other sporting events, in addition to taking part in charitable events organised by the industry.
